Course Description
This course is designed to
expose the students to the basic foundations of ESP that include the
differences with General English (GE), the philosophical assumptions behind
ESP, and the pedagogical aspects of ESP such as needs analysis, course design,
and assessment. The students will be engaged in intensive and critical
responses to readings, both required and self-select. In addition the students
will be involved in simple analysis of a ESP course and textbook and see how
the ESP is implemented in real classroom context.

the reference to level B2 of CEFR with other relevant supportive knowledge.
